Sarah Waters was born and raised in Ventura. She retired from Ventura Superior Court in 2012 after 27 years. She has been working for IWA in client services since August 2024.

She enjoys working with and talking to clients and learning about the financial services industry.

Sarah and her husband have been married for 43 years and live in Washington State.
She enjoys spending time with her daughter, helping neighbors and volunteering for her community.

What does wealth mean to you?

For me it means strong connections with family and friends and helping each other. We should contribute something worthwhile to help others. Also, plan for current and future financial wellbeing to live a comfortable life and be independent as long as you can. Stay active, learn new things and develop new skills, it’s never too late. Mental and physical wellbeing is important and will help you to pursue passions that contribute to your life.

What inspires you about your work?

I’m inspired by talking with and helping clients. They all have interesting life experiences to tell.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I live in the beautiful state of Washington.
